We invite Women of all ages and fitness levels to an obligation free consultaion. Our coaches  will show you around our fitness  facility, explain how our equpiment works and  show  you  how  you should use it.  Whether your goal is to lose weight, increase fitness or tone up, our program has been designed by fitness experts to help you. You will get inspiration from being in a place of like-minded women who are all achieving results for their personal fitness and wellbeing.

In just 30 minutes, you work every major muscle group through a proven program of strength training, cardio and stretching. You’ll also get an efficient full body workout on the Curves circuit. In addition, you’ll always keep your workouts fresh with your choice of a variety of Body Basic Classes, including Boxing, Yoga and Dance & Tone to name a few. 

We have been in  Nowra for 13 years and in that time have helped so many women achieve their fitness and health goals. Infact, Curves Nowra members have won & placed in the  Curvette of the Year for both 2014 and 2015!

We understand how hectic life can be. Making time for your health, fitness and maintaining your strength by fitting in regular workouts can be tough. But with the Curves circuit, 30 minutes is all you need. In just 30 minutes, you work every major muscle group through a proven program of strength training, cardio and stretching. You’ll also get an efficient full body workout on the Curves circuit.The circuit includes a variety of hydraulic resistance machines, which are built to create resistance that intensifies with effort. As your strength improves, you push harder and the machines respond with more resistance, which makes them ideal for women of any fitness level to achieve results. In addition, you’ll always keep your workouts fresh with your choice of a variety of Body Basic Circuits, including Boxing, Dance & Tone and Yoga to name a few
Our Curves Coaches  are  there to lead you through every circuit. You’ll never feel alone or wonder if you’re doing things right. They  will keep you motivated and ensure you get the very best from your Curves workouts.
 
To lose weight and keep it off, you need a healthy diet that protects muscle and speeds up your metabolism. Curves Complete meal plans give you easy delicious recipes you can cook at home, with lots of choice and flexibility to fit you, your family and your lifestyle. The Curves Complete Online Portal makes it so easy with a weekly meal plan, personalised menu, printable shopping lists and recipes, plus simple guidelines for takeaway or eating out. The meal choices include plenty of proteins, good fats and healthy carbohydrates so you’re never giving up an entire food group. When paired with Curves Fitness, the customisable Curves Complete Meal Plan can help break down body fat stores, leading to weight loss, build muscle tissue and burn kilojoules/calories.
To enhance your workout, we also  stock the My Active Life Nutrition range. Meet our 2015 Curvette of the Year - Kyla from Curves Nowra, NSW

Also awarded the 2015 Transformed Curvette of the Year, Kyla successfully committing to and completing the Curves 12 Week Challenge. We are proud to announce Kyla has been chosen as our 2015 Curvette of the Year.

After looking in the mirror one day and not liking what she saw, Kyla decided to give Curves a go. Kyla’s enthusiasm and strong mental and physical attitudes saw her successfully committing to and completing the Curves 12 Week Challenge. She is now energised, happy and confident, and has vowed to never go back again.

"One day I looked in the mirror and I really didn’t like what I saw. After having two children I had no energy to run around or play with my children. I just sat and watched them. After seeing a friend have success at Curves with weight loss I decided to give it ago and see if it would work for me. I thought at the time that the 30 min workout would suit me. I quickly changed my diet and cut out all the soft drinks. With Curves and walking everyday the weight started to drop. I lost 35kg in the first 2 years but after having a relationship break up I started to lose my motivation. I moved to Nowra in September 2014, I transferred my membership to them. I kept working out but I just could not budge those last 10kg’s.I decided to do the12 weekchallenge whichwas great. I managed to lose 8.5 kg on this. I am now under my goal weight. I have also managed to bring along my sister and mother for support and keep me committed. Today I feel energised, happy and confident."

Lyn's Story

I didnt want to die young

""After losing my Mum at a young age from kidney and heart disease I was always worried I would be the same. I was overweight for years before she died so decided it was time to take control of my health and my weight. I didn’t want to die young.

I started eating healthy and exercising and I managed to lose 27kg but over the years more than half of it crept back on. I just gave up and told myself I was meant to be big, telling myself my Mum and her Mum were big so thats how I am. In March 2015 I decided enough was enough I need to do something as soon I would be the age my Mum died, my fear for years was I would die young.

I decided to give Curves a go. For years I had back and neck problems as well as sore knees which I put down to the weight I was carrying and spent alot of time at the chiro or physio. The best thing I did was walk through the door of Curves Nowra. I instantly felt welcomed by the owner and staff. I signed up and went on the Curves Complete program. The program is easy to follow and has great recipes. I love the circuit as it is quick and works all the muscle groups. I go to Curves at least four times a week as well as walk at least six days. I love the challenges at the club as well. Last year along with one of the challenges we did a learn to run group. I never thought I could run but ran in two different 5km fun runs last year receiving 1st and 2nd place in my age group in them. I now enjoy running and run a couple of times a week. We are doing an in club challenge at the moment and was honoured to be asked by my Curves coach to take a group of ladies through the 8 week learn to run app. I have also inspired my brother who has recently lost alot of weight to get back into running. We are now planning to enter the 5.7km run in the Gold Coast marathon next year as a family, inspiring everyone to lead a healthy and active lifesyle. I no longer need to go to the chiro or physio as my back and knees are not suffering any more. In the two years I have been at Curves I have lost 14kg, 63cm and 8.6kg body fat (3.70%). I feel fit and healthy and more confident than ever.

Cherie's Story

I never thought I could be feeling and looking so good at 41

I was working two jobs, putting my family first and living in an unhappy marriage. I put on almost 30kg in three years and the scales were just going up and up. I decided that my health and happiness was ready to come first for once so I signed up at Curves Nowra.

I ended my marriage, quit my second job and fell in love with working out and clean eating. My weight and centimetres reduced and I feel like my old self again. I was suffering from a sore back, neck, shoulder and knee and since becoming lighter and stronger my pain has almost gone. I’ve started going on hikes with the kids on the weekends – we call it adventure Sundays. And the whole family is benefiting from my lifestyle changes.

I’ve lost 91.50cm off my whole body, 18.90kg, 8% body fat. I’ve taken my body fat percentage and my BMI from high to normal. And I’ve lost 24.5cm off my abdomen. I’ve gone from a size 20 down to size 12. I never thought I could be feeling and looking so good at 41.Curves has changed my life and I tell everyone to try it. The management and staff at Nowra Curves are so motivational and inspirational. They have given me the tools and support to change my life.I never thoughtI would run a 5 kilometer marathon at 42 yeras old, I never Thought i would fit into size 10 jeans again.I'm so much happier in my everyday life because i am active and eat healthy. Everyday I look forward to walking into the gym and seeing all of the happy faces. goal. I’ve spent too many years hating my body and not feeling sexy. I’m starting to feel really good in my own skin and it’s all thanks to Curves Nowra.

The 30g Protein Snack Bars contain protein from both soy and whey sources.  They come in 2 delicious flavours – Choc Caramel and Choc Cherry.
