Curves Fulham Gardens is an exclusive women’s club (that’s right, no men & no mirrors!) ... and we’re unlike any other gym! We welcome ladies of all ages (our members range from 14yrs-88yrs) at any fitness level, not only are we a fitness centre but also a weight loss facility - all in one, it’s a ‘one stop shop’! Our Coaches are passionate about caring & supporting our members...

We always listen to your specific requirements because we do care – you’re not just a number, and never will be.  We can modify the program to suit your needs and set realistic (not ridiculous) goals for you to achieve. In return you will receive free personal 1:1 coaching with your dietary requirements and on the Curves circuit – which is fun, fast and safe - 30 minutes is all it takes! We are driven by a common passion to inspire, motivate and empower you to improve your fitness levels, health & well being.

We have a strong sense of community here at Curves Fulham Gardens where have helped hundreds of women to become healthier & stronger and for some even changed their lives...

Join us for our Body Basic Classes which are designed to add variety & fun to the circuit. Workouts include simple movements on each mat between the machines with multiple levels of difficulty so that everyone can join in. Ranging from Stretch & Strength, Balance, Cardio, Combination, Dance & Tone, Box & Tone and more - with over 20 classes per week, THERE'S SOMETHING TO SUIT EVERYONE!

My Curves Journey

I joined Curves Fulham Gardens in August 2016,I weighed over 100kg andat the time I was on multiple medications. After a few months I started the Curves Complete program where I really enjoyed eating 'normal' food - I had previously tried many diet programs and alternative eating plans. My 'go to' food for whenever I was feeling hungry and/or bored was usually cakes, biscuits & lollies. After approximately 5 months I was off Insulin, fluid tablets plus blood pressure tablets. I was losing weight regularly every week and I started to feel really good about myself - which in turn helped me to become more positive - plus the compliments I received were fantastic! Then in Ausut 2017 I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, thankfully I didn't require surgery as the cancer has already spread to my bones. With Chemotherapy in daily tablet form plus an injection once a month for my bones, I was told that had I not lost the weight I may not have noticed there was a problem! After a trial period of different medications & feeling pretty grotty, Icontinued to focus on losing weight & eating healthy. At the moment I am on Phase 3 of the Curves Complete plan to build up my metabolism and energy and it's working pretty well. My journey has been a difficult one ...but I have lost over 28 kilos and I am very eager to continue on the Curves Complete program to give me the best of staying as healthy as I possibly can - plus with Julie's motivational weekly meetings I am pretty sure I will reach whatever goals I set.

JAYNE'S JOURNEY

I joined Curves in April 2016 in order to lose weight and achieve a sensible approach to food, prevent disease and be happier. As a health care worker at a local hospital I am fully aware of health issues regarding obesity and know the benefits of good nutrition.Starting on Curves Complete has totally changed not only my life and my body but it's been a whole education of how, what and when to eat the right foods. The meals and recipes are amazing and I love coming for my workouts 4 times a week. The support from my weekly meetingswith my Coach Tracey and also with meals cooked bymy husband, thistruly has been an amazing journey. I have lost a total of 39.8kgs plus 17.5% Body Fat. My goal was to get into a swimsuit whilst overseas for my 40th Birthday - I have surpassed my initial goal and have bought many new swimsuits & gorgeous holiday clothes. I can honestly say I feel better than ever ... if I can do it, trust me, anyone can!

JESSIE - A SUCCESS STORY!

JESSIE'S SUCCESS

Late last year - I knew I was overweight, I needed motivation (I usually don't stick to things), tried other gyms for a couple of years which didn't work ... but my main concern was my weakness for chocolate & chips - I was out of control!

When I joined Curves in October 2017 I decided that as well as exercise, I needed to change my diet as my body fat percentage was far too high. So, with the help of the staff at Curves and a whole new eating pattern, plus exercising 4-6 times a week, I can honestly say that I feel like a different person, I am eating healthier, I have more energy not only for myself by also for my family.

In the space of 6 months I have lost over 13kgs, reduced my Body Fat percentage by 5% and certainly feel amazing.

Curves is a place where I feel welcome and comfortable, the Staff keep me motivated and have supported me every step of the way and the selection of Body Basic Classes are good fun with a great atmosphere.

If I can achieve these incredible results ... anyone can, you just have to believe in yourself, trust your judgement and ... go for it!

Judy's Story

Hello ... I'm Judy and I've been coming to Curves for about 10 years. I find it such a good way to keep up my strength - which at 85 years of age and Type 1 diabetic, it's necessary.

The staff are so friendly and helpful and make sure that we are working properly. Everyone who comes are friendly which in all creates a great atmosphere.

I would like to thank Julie and Tracey at Fulham Gardens Curves for inspiring me to take up the challenge of controlling my love of food during the 8 Week Challenge. I have been coming to Curves for over 5 years without successfully committing myself to the significant weight loss that would benefit my health.

During the weekly sessions, I reflected on things that have given me reasons for just accepting the weight creeping on. This came to a fairly dramatic halt in the early months of this year when I experienced weight-related medical problems.

I knew I had to do something about my weight. The opportunity cropped up when I came into a late session and Julie and Tracey were setting up for the first week of the Challenge. It was so opportune when they asked me if I wanted to join. My mum died a year ago and it seemed like she was tapping me on the shoulder and saying, “How about using some of the money I left you and looking after yourself.” I signed up then and there. It was the best contract with myself that I have made in many years.

In each of the Challenge Sessions, the group were taught the importance to taking time to consider what is on food labels and how to monitor sugar intake and portion size; particularly when eating out. The group of women who shared the journey with me were supportive and good fun. Thank you also to them. I also upped my number of sessions per week and made the recommended 10,000 steps a day. And guess what? That is me on the treadmill. I won the treadmill with the most weight loss of the group, a total of 6.8kgs. I still have lot more to lose but I am feeling so much better and fitting into clothes that I have not worn for a long while. The health benefits have been considerable – less pressure of weight on my feet in which I have osteoporosis, reduced blood pressure and more energy for daily living.

Thank you to everyone in the Curves team who encouraged me in each stage of the 8-week journey. It has been and will continue to be a journey to health and wellbeing.
